Certified Strength & Conditioning Coach (NSCA) TPI Level I

about

I’ve always loved sports! Playing lacrosse growing up led me to Northern Arizona University, where I played and later coached. That’s where I found my passion for training athletes and everyday people alike. Since then, I’ve coached both in person and virtually, working with everyone from general fitness clients to athletes chasing sport-specific goals, Spartan Races, and marathons. Golf came into my life during the pandemic, and it quickly became another way to push myself to be consistent, improve, and enjoy the outdoors. Now I help golfers build strength, mobility, and confidence so they can perform better on and off the course.

Background & Training Philosophy

What I love most about working with golfers is that it’s a sport anyone can pick up, yet every player still strives to get better. Helping golfers build strength, stability, and consistency that translate from the gym to the course is incredibly rewarding. One of my favorite golf memories is a trip to Myrtle Beach with my best friend, where we played Man O’ War—a course unlike any other.

My approach to training is simple: listen, communicate, guide, and challenge. I want every client to have fun, work hard, and leave feeling accomplished. On Memorial Day, my clients know to expect a variation of “The Murph” workout—it’s become a bit of a tradition. Above all, I want people to feel supported, challenged, and confident that what we’re doing will make them better in the long run.

Personal Life & Vision

Outside of fitness and golf, I love being outdoors—paddle boarding, camping, and even searching for cool rocks. I’ve been lucky enough to travel to some incredible places, with Yosemite, the Scottish Highlands, and Norway topping my list. A fun fact about me: I played lacrosse in high school and college, and later coached both collegiate and high school teams. And when it comes to food, I can’t resist hot dogs and Dr Pepper—they’re both my favorites and my guilty pleasures.

At THE CLUB, I’m excited to keep learning from the best and continue growing so I can help others reach their goals. My ultimate hope is that everyone I work with leaves feeling like they’ve improved—even if it’s just by 1%.
