There are many different types of swimming. You don't have to know an exact technique to reap the benefits of swimming. Just jump in a pool move however you can back and forth across the pool. To increase endurance, don't hurry, rush, or panic. Relax and calmly swim. You do not even have to put your head in the water if you are a beginner. Practice swimming 3x a week for 30 minutes each time. Focus on deep breaths, relaxed facial muscles, and positive thinking.
