Mindi, the exercise that you had on Tees2Greens.com is the best exercise for someone who is having trouble shifting his weight on the down swing. I have been playing this game for 20 years and I always had a problem shifting my weight properly.
The exercises that helped me were stork turns and 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock swings.
I started playing when I turned 40 years old. (I am 60 years old now and still in good shape but I found out with your help that I was not flexible. I run 5 days a week and ride a bike on Saturday and Sunday). I used to be a recreational basketball player and I could not keep up with the younger guys anymore.
In the beginning I only played 5 to 10 times a year and up until the beginning of July of this year I stilled only played 10 to 15 times a year even though I belong to a country club. But I decided to give it my full attention now and I am determined to get better (I started taking lessons again from our Pro and he is really helping me out also). I have a 22 handicapped and I am determined to get it down to 15 before the cold weather settles in New Jersey (I lived in Cinnaminson, New Jersey).
I just want to say thank you for your web site. I know using your exercises, I will become more flexible and that will help me improve my golf swing. Also I told my golfing buddies about your exercises and they started using them and they have visited your web site.
