Fitness Testimonial & Plan:

“My basic fitness plan is built around my playing schedule. When I'm on the road, Mondays and Tuesdays are weight-lifting days to maintain my strength. Wednesday-Sunday, I emphasis the TPI program before my rounds and Pro-Ams to stay loose and flexible and have my body rested for a full day of practice and 4-5 miles of walking.”

A typical Monday/Tuesday workout (1.5 hrs)
-15 minutes total body foam rolling
-15-20 minutes of bike machine (4-5 miles)
-10 minutes of static stretching with a band
-45 minutes of light weight lifting (total body)
-Ice as needed
A typical TPI workout (1-1.5 hrs)
-10-15 minutes of foam total body foam rolling
-10-15 minutes of light running/bicycle machine
-5-10 minutes of static stretching
-35-45 Minutes TPI workout: emphasizing flexibility and mobility of joints and muscles.

When I am home, I emphasis building up strength, correcting specific body imbalances, and adding back extra weight I may have lost on the road.  I see a regular Chiropractor and am using Pilates coach to correct the imbalances in strength and flexibility in my back and hip muscles.

I work with Mindi in her studio to continue my strength and flexibility program via modified TPI workouts combined with the TRX bands, kettle balls, and weight machines. We also continually measure my flexibility and mobility to see where I can improve and modify workouts based on those assessments. We usually workout 2-3 times per week, for an up to1.5 hrs at a time.  We develop new workouts I can take on the road with me so that my body doesn't get used to the same exercises.”
