Description:

Power walking is walking at a pace that gets your heart rate and breathing rate up. It is a faster paced walk than a stroll, but with a slightly longer stride. The longer stride is possible by using the arms to pump back and forth. Start walking outside or on a treadmill. The Goal is to be able to walk a 15 minute mile (4mph). Try walking 5x per week for 30minutes. Focus on deep breathing and positive thinking.
