Jogging is the next level up from power walking. Make sure you feel comfortable walking at a fast pace before you start jogging. Start by lightly jogging to short landmarks, then to the next one (mailbox, lightpost, end of block). Gradually, as you feel comfortable without pain, don't speed up, but continue jogging for longer durations. Try jogging a 15-minute mile (4mph). Jog 3x per week for 30 minutes each time. Focus on light feet, calm breathing, and positive thinking.
